Eczema: Is most commonly genetic and can be difficult to control at times. If you suffer from eczema there are some basic daily things that can improve the outbreaks.

Take a daily anti-histamine (such as Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec, Benadryl, etc.) Most often times there is an allergy component to eczema.

Avoid prolonged hot showers or baths which take the natural oils off of the skin. As soon as you get out of the cool shower, pat the skin dry and apply a cream or ointment such as non-scented petroleum gel.

Rosacea: is a chronic and inflammatory skin disease characterized by flushing, non-transient erythema, papules/pustules, telangiectasia, and phymatous changes (thickened skin with enlarged pores). Hair Loss: Can be a symptom of an underlying medical condition such as thyroid dysfunction, vitamin deficiency, or hormone imbalance. Lab testing is available for this. Over the counter treatment options includes Minoxidil 2%-5% foam or liquid once daily have shown a 70% improvement over placebo at week 16 and 26.
